The people of this land is a bit unlike ordinary humans, they are not made of flesh and blood, but magic essence. In fact, all life beings are made with magic. When magic condenses onto leaves or grass, they form into tiny gems, which may become sentient. When they grow larger, they may become animals or humans. Depending on the type of gems formed, the beings will have different magic types. When a child is found, a mentor should take care of them. Humans have high magic capacity and abilities than animals, and able to learn around three unique skills.
Aside from humans and animals, there is a special kind of life form called cometlings. They are small creatures that have wings and are able to communicate with humans. Unlike humans and animals, they cannot use magic, but they have ginormous magic energy inside them. When a human and a cometling share their powers via a spell of contract, they are able to use unstoppable magic via transformation. To encounter them is such a rare possibility, most people assumed cometlings are just a myth.
In this world, humans and animals uses magic! There are three main magic elements, and the element branch off to other subtypes. Subtypes are very diverse, it is impossible to list them all.
Nature: Magic connected to plants and animals. Also, those with Nature Magic tend to be physically strong and peaceful. Subtypes include Floral, Animal Whisperer.
Water: Magic related to manipulating water. It is said this type of magic users are quite sensitive to other's emotions, and knows how to bond with everyone. Subtypes include Ice, Rain etc.
Energy: Magic which controls heat and energy. This magic can be very destructive and powerful, but low in defense. It is said that these users are quite hot headed. Subtypes include Fire, Heat, Air.
Light: This magic type is more rare. Associated with protection and healing. Light users tend to care about whats right and wrong, and wishes to bring joy to everyone. Subtypes include Summoned Shield, Sharpened Attack.
Dark: This magic type is more rare. Associated with destruction and mystery. Dark users are often curious, and willing to challenge themselves into dangerous situations. Subtypes include Telekinesis, Item Summoning etc.
For Nature, Water and Energy elements, people can learn up to three magic skills. However, for Light and Dark elements, the users can learn up to four magic skills.
Each magic user has a basic magic skill, which should be easiest to master and the first skill they learn in childhood. Eventually, they may learn a stronger skill, and a final special skill. The final skill is the most powerful, but it usually drains one's power a lot.
Not everyone will learn all three skills, some might only master one skill. Sometimes, the only skill they learn can be the final skill, or they might only learn the basic skill and master it to the point of being extremely potent.
The most common method of magic usage is convert magic essence from one's body into external power, this is called primary magic. There are basic magic skills everyone should be able to learn according to their own magic types. But if they became experts, they may find powerful abilities that they themselves can only master.
Aside from directly using your own magic essence, there are alternatives, which is secondary magic. You can extract magic from other matters or life beings, and apply it onto weapons or contain it. You can also draw magic circles to draw magic from surronding areas, although this is more time-consuming and requires more drawing skills. These can help you boost your powers or help you out if you are out of juice.
It is said that this tower, which is located at the center of the Stardust Isle, was once the home to the creator of this world. But in the current days, it is maintained by a team called The Sky Pioneer who promised to save the world from doom and bring back to glory days. However, in the recent days, their work was kept hidden from public and the tower seems to be constantly heightened. Just what are they planning?
Stardust Isle used to be a lot larger. However, since long ago, the parts of the earth was consumed by some sort of pure black substance. Any efforts of removing it has been futile, and all life that came near it quickly got ill. With no choice, the areas consumed by the void was barred from entering. As years go by, the Voided Lands kept increasing in size, and with the population quickly declining, all prohibition from entering and recovering has ceased. But perhaps, there are secrets laying inside of this area?
As you know human families don’t work the same here, people live in a community/village which is similar to academies. There is the leader, many mentors that will take care and educate the younger ones, and the students. Depending on the community, they will accept students of different magic types or capabilities.
